Mace Group is pleased to announce its participation in the UAE's leading sailing event, the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy. Organised by the Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC), the event is a three-day regatta starting on Thursday 25th February.
The Mace boat, a Beneteau First 34.7, is competing in the division two class, and is fiercely competing for a position to finish in the top three.
Mike Jelfs, Skipper of the Mace boat, comments: "2009 was a hugely successful season for the Mace boat. It saw the team receive trophies in all of the major Dubai sailing events. We are looking to extend this success in this weekend's huge sailing regatta."
Julian Munday, Mace project director and fellow sailor on the boat adds: "Mace always strives to be the best at what we do; whether we are managing an iconic development such as Abu Dhabi's Capital Gate Hotel or taking part in a premier sailing event such as the Al Maktoum Trophy. Mace always delivers with passion, pride and gusto."
Mace Group's current ongoing portfolio in the region includes projects such as Mirdif City Centre in Dubai, the New Doha International Airport and the Yaseem Hotel in Syria.
