In 2005, Macro negotiated a three year contract to deliver facilities management to Invesco's offices in London and Henley.

Macro began working with Invesco in late 2004, when it undertook a project to review the morale of the company's facilities management staff as Invesco was considering outsourcing to create a new solution. Following a full procurement process, Macro was appointed in 2005 to head the company's facilities management operation at their UK headquarters in Henley-on-Thames and their London office at Finsbury Square.

What did we do?
Macro was initially engaged to provide facilities management, helpdesk services, mailroom, reprographics and front of house services. The remaining service components (security, catering, cleaning and M&E Services) were all tendered individually and reported directly back to Invesco. Due to the trust gained, performance delivered and collaborative relationship developed over the first year, Macro expanded its role to include the management of all of the service provider contracts (managing agent status for catering), expanding the contract from £4m to £8m per annum.

This relationship has grown ever stronger. Since 2005, Macro has expanded its scope of services to also include project management and electronic document handling. It has also expanded to other locations including:

• Dublin & Jersey: offering a full range of facility management services
• Paris and Brussels: offering project management services
• USA: offering 24 hour helpdesk services for all facility management queries
• Germany: facilities management consultancy
